Bays Earns Conference Honors

Senior forward Whitney Bays received postseason honors from the Conference. Bays was named second team All-Big Ten by the media and was an honorable mention selection by the coaches.

Liza Clemons was Purdue's Sportsmanship honoree.

The coaches and media had different choices Player of the Year. The coaches chose Ohio State freshman Kelsey Mitchell. Minnesota sophomore Amanda Zahui B. was the media's choice. Mitchell was the unanimous selection for Freshman of the Year by both groups. Maryland Coach Brenda Frese was honored as Coach of the Year by her peers and the media.

The coaches also voted on Defensive Player of the Year, Syessence Davis of Rutgers, and Sixth Player of the year, Katelynn Flaherty of Michigan.
