Just moments ago, ESPN released their line-ups for their "Super Tuesday" games in 2015. And predictably, Purdue, along with 4 out of 5 bottom teams from last year, plus Rutgers, were left out of the line-up. IU, despite their absence this past post season, will so far have two games shown on national television.
What does this mean? Basically, unless Purdue is picked up for a Wednesday or Thursday night game by ESPN (probably for a road game), most weeknight conference games will be shown on BTN and won't be in the national spotlight. As it stands, Purdue's conference schedule is still in the dark and a bit unknown outside of who we are playing, so this could all change in the coming weeks.
We should have expected this given our last place finish, while Wisconsin and Michigan already have 4 and 3 games, respectively, lined-up for a national audience. Hopefully, the team can rebound into the national spotlight this coming year.
