Ricardo Allen drafted by the Atlanta Falcons

I can't say too much about this since I am currently traveling, but news broke earlier that the Falcons drafted Ricardo Allen with the 147th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. This is great news for Purdue and Allen. Purdue continues its streak of at least one player being drafted or signed as an UFA. For Allen, he will have some time to probably learn the system assuming he makes it onto the official roster. Of course, it would be interesting to see Rico Island intercept a pass from Brees and return it for a touchdown.
