The second domino has fallen. Vince Edwards, the senior-to-be Purdue forward, will withdraw from the 2017 NBA Draft and return to Purdue for his senior season.

This has been suspected for some time, but it only became official today. It appears that the projections of him not going in either round of the NBA draft was enough to send him back to West Lafayette.
Of course, this is a huge decision that helps Purdue. No matter what happens in the other big decision today, Purdue will return four senior starters from the team that won the Big Ten this season by two games. At minimum, Purdue should still be a solid top 25 team that can contend for a Big Ten title once again.
Now we can wait on the other big decision, and that will happen later today. Caleb Swanigan has until 5pm this afternoon to announce his decision, and he is working out with the Knicks today.
