Purdue Basketball Tip-Off Times/TV Schedule Announced for Remaining Games

Many prime time games for the Boilers this upcoming season, including one that could be featured for College GameDay.

Earlier this week, BTN announced the games they would be covering for the 2015-16 basketball season, and today ESPN and CBS picked up the remaining, more intriguing games of the season. Here are the Purdue games that will be shown on ESPN and CBS this season:

  • Thu., January 7th: Michigan at Purdue, 7 or 9pm, ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
  • Thu., January 21st: Ohio State at Purdue, 9pm, ESPN/ESPN2
  • Sat., February 6th: Purdue at Maryland, 4pm, ESPN/ESPN2
  • Tue., February 9th: Michigan State at Purdue, 7pm, ESPN
  • Sat., February 13th: Purdue at Michigan, 2pm, ESPN/ESPN2
  • Sat., February 20th: Purdue at Indiana, 7 or 9pm, ESPN
  • Sat., February 27th: Maryland at Purdue, 4pm, ESPN/ESPN2
  • Sat./Sun., March 5/6th: Wisconsin at Purdue, TBD, CBS Sports Wildcard Selection

One thing that pops out is the Purdue/Indiana game in Bloomington, which has been scheduled as a Saturday night game. It is entirely possible that this could be ESPN's featured game of the weekend and bring in College GameDay. Though the game would be in Bloomington, have GameDay feature the Purdue/Indiana rivalry is huge and puts it back at a level not seen since the Keady vs Knight days.
