While most kickoffs for November 23rd were announced last week, the TV networks opted to wait until this weekend to announce the kickoff time for Purdue’s game in Madison against the Badgers. Today, we got that news:
After many consecutive noon games, Purdue will be kicking off at 4pm Eastern on FOX next week. This is Purdue’s first non-noon game since they hosted Minnesota on September 28th.
The Boilermakers haven’t beaten the Badgers since 2003, and most of the games since then have been lopsided in favor of Wisconsin. However, under Jeff Brohm Purdue has been playing the Badgers much closer, nearly defeating them last year before Jonathon Taylor literally carried Wisconsin to a many overtime win. Perhaps this game will also feature a close match up, or maybe Purdue will get whipped on national television. We’ll just have to wait and see.
