Both D.J. Knox and Rondale Moore shined last night for Purdue against #2 Ohio State, but Knox ended up running away with the awards as he scored the hat trick last night.

Knox was so good, he ended up scoring two 40 yard touchdowns on plays that were designed to just get some yards and burn up the clock. But Knox had other plans. I can only assume the exchange went like this:
Coach Brohm: Okay, DJ. Just run up the middle to get some yards to burn some clock.
DJ Knox: lol nah

This is @BoilerFootball RB @blockknox1 rumbling for his third TD of the night and a likely dagger in the comeback hopes of No. 2 Ohio State: pic.twitter.com/3adtpVXZRb
And of course, how could we forget his first touchdown in the 3rd quarter that ended up being the game winning touchdown? (As Ohio State only scored 20 points in the game, and this score plus PAT gave Purdue 21 points.)

Outside of his hat trick, Knox finished with 128 yards on 16 carries, good for 8 yards per carry. Knox’s longest play of 42 yards nearly matched Ohio State’s best rusher last night, Mike Weber, who finished with 45 yards.
