The Spoilermaker Special is rolling down the tracks after razing a southern team so badly, it could almost be called Sherman’s March Part 2. However, a new challenger from the north has appeared on the horizon, and their khaki-clad army is fueled with steaks and whole milk. None of that candy-ass skim milk, which is water that’s lying about being milk.

This is Purdue’s biggest test so far this season, and perhaps the best defense they will face all season. Purdue was able to take advantage of weak defenses against Louisville, Ohio, and Missouri. Can Blough and Sindelar find the weak spots in Michigan’s secondary? If Michigan’s offense continues to sputter, can Purdue take advantage of it? Even if Saturday is a reality check for Purdue, Ross-Ade should still have a great atmosphere, and this Purdue team is fun to watch.

Let’s play football.
