After an impressive win against Ohio on Friday night, Purdue got an extra day off to prepare and practice for the Missouri Tigers. Purdue travels down south(ish) in their first road game of the season.

Purdue hasn’t won a road non-con game since 2007, when they won at Toledo 52-24; and Purdue hasn’t won a road non-con game against a Power-5 team since 2004 when they beat Notre Dame 41-16.

Though Missouri seems weak, this is still a big test for the Boilermakers. Can Purdue use the momentum it has built early on this season and get that road win? Or do they fall back into the traps of old Purdue? I’m hoping for the former.

Let’s play football.

Side note: Since this game is on the SEC Network, many of you might not get the channel and will not be able to watch the game without adding on a pricey package to your cable package. Don’t worry, we got you, fam. With the recent rise in cord cutting, there has been a rise in online TV streaming. Many of these services offer the SEC Network as well as free trials. I’ve listed some of them below (just don’t forget to cancel your membership before your credit card is charged):

  • Sling TV with 7-day free trial (Orange + Sports Extra package)
  • Playstation Vue with 5-day free trial (Core Package)
  • YouTube TV with free trial (regular package)
  • Hulu TV with free trial (regular package)
