Purdue/Illinois Kickoff Time Set

After a long hiatus, #BigTenAfterBreakfast returns to Ross-Ade Stadium

NCAA Football: Illinois at Purdue Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time this season, Purdue will host a noon kickoff game in Ross-Ade Stadium as the Fightin’ Illini come to town and try to steal our cannon:

This will also be Purdue’s 4th straight game on BTN, as the first 5 games were either on FOX, FS1, ESPN 2, or SEC Network. I just hope Matt Millen isn’t calling the game again. But I digress.

This will be Purdue’s 2nd noon game of the year, with their first being this past Saturday against...Rutgers...oh no...

So set your alarms a little earlier and get down to Ross-Ade Stadium for Military Appreciation Day and the Battle for the Purdue Cannon. It’s time for some #BigTenAfterBreakfast

In the words of one of my undergrad classmates as he imitated Danny Hope: Boiler Up, Hammer Down, Hail Purdue, God bless America, and I’ll see you at high noon.
