NCAA Football: Maryland at Minnesota Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

Purdue has had to sit on their bitter loss to Michigan for an extra week, and with the recent passing of Joe Tiller, emotions are running in West Lafayette.

Despite their loss to Maryland on Saturday, Minnesota is still a dangerous team that can test the offense and give the defense trouble (especially in the first half with two Purdue defenders out). Can Purdue overcome their loss and beat the Gophers? Or will they still be hung up on their recent loss and let their weaknesses get the best of them on Saturday?

The game against Ohio following the Louisville loss showed that Brohm Squad has short memories, but Minnesota is a different beast. Purdue will need a good first half if they want to win this game.

Let’s play football.
