Huh, that can't be right. *spins totem again, falls*
Well, I guess I'm not dreaming, Purdue really did win!
Sure, it was against a now 1-4 Illinois team, but somehow Purdue did behind a good running game and 459 yards of offense, as well as a triple icing of the Illinois kicker at the end of regulation. We have a cannon now!
Of course, the question is can Purdue build on this momentum and win more games, or have they hit their peak? It was realistic for Purdue to go 3-2 in their first five games, but now they face the real meat of their schedule. But before we can worry about Purdue getting close to the endzone against a good Wisconsin defense, we have to worry about an Iowa team that likes to win B1G road games 14-7 for some reason.
And let us not forget that Iowa remains Our Most Hated Rival, even if we're in the same division now. We hate Iowa and our corn is better!
