It is no secret that Purdue needs to improve on both lines, especially the offensive line. It has hit the offensive line big in this recruiting cycle, and the Boilers just got another bog man up front from Ohio.

Bycznski projects mostly as an interior lineman, most likely at guard. He is listed at 6’4”, 295 pounds and he is a consensus three-star recruit across the board. That gives him some big size to build on immediately.
As with most offensive line commitments, this one will be a developmental one. We may not see him on the field for another 2-3 years as he faces a likely redshirt and then a developmental year. He was a good blocker for his older brother, who was the quarterback at his high school before this past season. I like the possibilities we have with a guy like Bycznski, who will do well in time.
