Ryan Walters has been heavy on the recruiting trail this off season trying to fill some holes in his roster. And while we lost some familiar names to the portal, he’s done a good job bringing in talent. The latest addition, Kyndrich Breedlove, announced his commitment to Purdue this afternoon.
A four star prospect out of high school, Breedlove was the #38 cornerback in his class and the #8 player out of Tennessee according to Rivals. After receiving offers from Georgia, Louisville, and Auburn among others, Kyndrich committed to Ole Miss.
He appeared in 10 games for the Rebels and played mostly special teams. After two years, Breedlove transferred to Colorado last season to play under Coach Prime. As a redshirt sophomore, he appeared in 12 games where he garnered 12 tackles and a forced fumble.
Breedlove joins Nyland Green from Georgia and Stu Smith as the other CB transfers this offseason. In a spot we were exposed at a lot last season, Kyndrich has a chance to move into the rotation for Purdue and still has a few years of eligibility remaining.
