Purdue Football: Ty Hudkins Signs!

Purdue lands the Division 3 and 4 Michigan Player of the Year.

Ty Hudkins, a 6’0”, 185 pound 3*(86) defensive back out of Forest Hills Central High School (Grand Rapids, MI) signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Purdue in the 2024-2025 season. He is the 1138th overall player, and 119th ranked safety in the 2024 class. He is the 20th best player in Michigan.

Ty chose Purdue over listed offers from schools including North Western, Minnesota, and Tulane.

A first team all-state performer in Michigan as both a junior and senior, Hudkins accumulated 98 tackles, 8 pass breakups and 5 interceptions as a senior. That includes and interception and 3 tackles on defense and 115 yards receiving and a touchdown offense in the state championship game to lead his team to victory.
