Purdue Football: Caleb Irving Signs!

Purdue heads deep into the heart of Texas for a defensive lineman.

Caleb Irving, a 6’2”, 270 pound 3*(87) defensive lineman from Parish Episcopal School (Dallas, TX) signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Purdue in the 2024-2025 season. He is the 830th overall, and 96th ranked defensive lineman in the 2024 class. He is the 130th best player in Texas.

Irving chose Purdue over listed offers from programs including Cal, Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Utah and Vanderbilt.

As a senior he tallied 52 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks in 9 games. He won four straight TAPPS Division I state championships at Parish Episcopal and was a team captain in 2023. He was first team all-district and all-state as a junior.
