Purdue Football: Rod Green Signs!

Purdue adds an instant impact junior college offensive lineman.

Rod Green, a 6’5”, 315 pound 3*(85) offensive lineman out of Coffeyville Community College by way of Springfield High School (Springfield, OH) signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Purdue in the 2024-2025 season. He is considered the 56th best junior college transfer in the nation, and the 3rd overall JuCo interior offensive lineman.

Rod chose Purdue over listed offers from Virginia Tech, Arizona State, BYU, and Houston.

Rod started his career at Grambling, then transferred to Tennessee State as redshirt-freshman. He then transferred to Coffeyville Community College where he was named All-Conference second team in one of the most competitive junior college leagues in the nation.
