Purdue Football: D’Mon Marable Signs!

Purdue adds a talented safety out of Tennessee!

D’Mon Marable, a 6’2”, 190 pound 3* (88) safety out of Clinton High School (Clinton, TN) signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Purdue today. Marable is considered the 652nd best player in the nation, the 70th best safety and the 17 best player in Tennessee.

D’Mon chose Purdue over offers from schools including Boston College, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Minnesota, and Ole Miss.

As a senior at Clinton, he ran for 120 yards and 3 touchdowns on 19 carries, caught 6 passes for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns, on offense. On defense he was credited with174 tackles (82 solo, 4.5 sacks, 13.5 tackles for loss, 1 interception, 2 passes defended, and 7 forced fumbles. He was named the Region 3-5A Co-Defender of the Year in 2022. Holds Clinton high school single and season record for tackles and led the state of Tennessee in tackles for the 2023 season.
