Purdue has the clear-cut best resume in the nation right now. The Boilermakers are 5-0 in Q1 games and 7-1 in Q1/Q2 games. Noone else other than Houston has more than 3 Q1 wins (they are 4-0 in Q1). Purdue scheduled an absolute gauntlet this season and is two games away from securing 3 straight regular seasons without losing to a non-conference opponent. Although not against the cream of the crop, Matt Painter cannot look past the remaining games against Jacksonville and Eastern Kentucky. Just look at what Northwestern did against Chicago State. Past those two games, Purdue will enter back into conference play with a potential chip on their shoulder after losing to Northwestern. Any created advantage is what great teams make and Purdue looks to be a great team. Just keep winning.
