The Purdue Boilermakers are enjoying a really solid start to offseason with their continued roster rebuilding through the portal as Head Coach Ryan Walters added another key piece. UCLA wide receiver Kam Brown announced his transfer to Purdue and will join the Boilers for his sixth and final season of college football. Brown will come to Purdue following three seasons with the UCLA Bruins and two seasons at Texas A&M where he totaled 61 receptions for 846 yards and 6 touchdowns. The 6’0, 190 pound veteran will bring a vast amount of experience to a wide receiver room that is lacking in depth and leadership following most of the room leaving through the portal.
Brown will join a number of other Boilermakers as portal additions as Head Coach Ryan Walters and his staff have already added a number of important players and currently have the 15th rated portal class in the country (without adding Brown and Love). Purdue will continue to look at wide receiver, cornerback, and possibly the defensive line for continued help immediately next season.
