Purdue and IU will meet on the gridiron this weekend for the final regular season football game. Neither team is destined for the Big Ten title game, neither team has even qualified for a bowl game. This reminds me of the early 1990’s Old Oaken Bucket games, when there was nothing but pride on the line. There is however something on the line for me. I made a couple bets earlier in the year that IU would fall under 3.5 wins on the year and if Purdue comes out victorious that will win me some money and honestly, isn’t that what this is all about?
Whether or not a bowl game or conference standing is on the line there is always the Old Oaken Bucket and I want Ryan Walters and staff to come away with a victory in their first Bucket game. This one will kick off at noon on Saturday, or 7:00 AM for those of us in Hawaii for the basketball tournament. Join us throughout the week as we take a look at the final game of the regular season.
