#2 Purdue vs. Gonzaga - Maui Invitational Open Thread

Purdue takes on the Zags from Gonzaga at 12:00 today in the islands of Hawaii. I’m on site here at the arena in preparation for what may be the best tournament any of us have ever seen. As I type, #7 Tennessee is taking on Syracuse and looks like Tennessee will be advancing to the winner’s side of the bracket. Should Purdue win this one it will likely face the Volunteers of Tennessee. BUT FIRST...

Purdue has to take off the Gonzaga Bulldogs in a game that is basically a rematch of last year’s PK tourney. The teams obviously look a little bit different but Purdue will play more or less the same game as they did last year. The question is, how will Gonzaga respond to losing their star Drew Timme?
