Purdue Volleyball: Colvin and Chicoine pick up Big Ten Honors

Raven Colvin and Chloe Chicoine were both recognized for their B1G play last week against Indiana and Penn State.

Colvin was awarded Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after racking up 17 blocks including a season-high 11 against Indiana.

She had a .500 hitting percentage and went errorless against Hoosiers in their rematch. This is the second time Colvin has been awarded for her defensive efforts this season.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Chloe Chicoine honored with Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Sound familiar? Probably so if you’ve been paying attention; this is the fourth time this season Chicoine has won the award and rightfully so.

The freshman was dominate against Penn State recording 20 kills with a hitting % of .667!! in set 4 and .405 hitting percentage on the match . This is her fifth award this season after earning a Big Ten Player of the Week back in September.
