So the UConn coach has just announced he plans to retire at the end of the year. My question is this....does this make this weeks game against them more difficult for Purdue? Does the team rally around him for the rest of the year, or do they give up? I tend to think that him announcing it this early in the year means they will rally around him and play much better. I would not be surprised to see Purdue struggle to put them away next week. Had he announced it late in the year, the team may have simply given up. This may turn out to be a sneaky tough game.
