The first loss of the season is tough. Losing a game to a rival you haven’t played in seven years is even tougher. I don’t think that Purdue needed to play a perfect game in order to win, but it needed to take advantages of the opportunities it was given and it was unable to do so. It led to a frustrating afternoon, as there were chances missed.
There will be other chances though, as the season is not over. The hope of a postseason game is still very much alive as Purdue would go somewhere around Christmas time with just four more wins. Just because these chances were missed doesn’t mean there are not going to be other chances.
Here is our weekly Twitter recap from the game as usual. We’re hoping also that David Bell is okay and can come back stronger than ever after that nasty hit he took.
Don’t let let all of this attention on the visiting tunnel distract you from the visiting locker room bathroom being the most awful smelling facility in college football. https://t.co/f9l0GuJU8R

“If @LifeAtPurdue is home to the world’s largest drum, does that also mean they have the world’s largest mallet?”
I need your expertise and insight, @billsaidwhat and @JustTMill.
Arizona is also playing the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks. Hard choice lol

Although, the game isn't until 10pm Eastern time. Could have a private plane at SBN ready to take them over to Tuscon after this game!
NBC called that one in from the Rockefeller Plaza.

#Purdue’s very lucky that Jack Coan just T-shirt gun’d two very makeable throws.

Defense has played good enough to win. Offense needs to step up

Is it just me, or does the offense regress as the defense improves under Brohm?
You knew David Bell would do something eventually, because David Bell always does something.

David Bell can make a great catch, even when the defense is cheating. #Purdue

Purdue joins the time with rugby punting and somehow finds two guys that suck at it

I swear Notre Dame football gets more calls at home than Duke basketball. pic.twitter.com/2CSPrbGI3T

Purdue may not be ranked in many things in athletics but there’s no doubt we are a Top 5 school when it comes to building up hope to only have it all come crashing down in extraordinary fashion.

Surprised ND allowed him to leave through the main tunnel.

Purdue’s 27-13 loss at #NotreDame is just another reminder of how special and how rare that win was for the #Boilermakers up there in 2004. Is Coach Brohm walking out of there as mad as Coach Tiller was after a loss in 2002? Guess we’ll find out 9-20-2025.
