2021 Projection: Likely Redshirt
Burks is a quality pickup in the 2021 recruiting class as a 3-star, but the depth the Boilers have at receiver means he is probably a year away from contributing. His senior year stats were not on MaxPreps, but as a junior he had a great year with 35 catches for 819 yards and 12 touchdowns. As a senior he helped his team reach the semifinals in their class int he Michigan State playoffs, finishing with a 9-0 regular season record.

Really the only thing standing in Burks’ way is the number of talented receivers versa already in the program. He will get his chance in the future, however.
