After getting 3 recruits from the state of Indiana for 2021, 2 for the 2022 class and now 1 for the 2023 class, it is safe to say - Matt Painter owns this state.
Today, Coach Painter received a verbal commitment from rising to be junior guard, Myles Colvin.
Yes, there will be another Colvin coming to Purdue. Myles will join his father, Roosevelt and sister, Raven (Volleyball), to become Boilermakers.

Currently unranked, the to be junior has exploded onto the scene this spring and summer in the AAU Circuit. Displaying his length, athleticism and shooting ability over the course of the last several months.
As soon as the dead period was over, it only took Coach Painter days to see Myles in person and offer. After that, it was a matter of time, Myles has stated that Purdue is a dream school.
While being a legacy child, he is not following directly in his father’s footsteps. Dad, Roosevelt, played football for Coach Joe Tiller before having a multiple super bowl winning career for the New England Patriots.
Myles will get to pave his own path on the basketball court. He is exactly what this team will need in 2023, too. A long, athletic, 2 way guard that can get his own shot and own bucket.
The 2022 class is loaded with shooters and the 2021 class covers the forward positions.
Myles, welcome to Purdue. Boiler Up.
