Purdue Basketball: Trevion Williams is Back

NCAA Basketball: Big Ten Conference Tournament-Ohio State vs Purdue Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Trevion Williams will be a professional basketball player someday.

But, that someday can wait at least another year, as the big man took to Social Media today to announce his intent to return to Purdue for his Senior Season.

15.5 Points Per Game and 9 Rebounds per game is headed back to West Lafayette to team back up with what people are saying 7-6 Zach Edey, Purdue still has him listed at 7-4 though.

Those two, together, will be the best 1-2 combo in college basketball at the center position.

Though, professionally Trevion is probably more of a power forward, he has been a constant at the center position for Coach Matt Painter the last few years.

He has posted some videos this offseason, where the jump shot and mobility has appeared to improve drastically, so, maybe there is a shot we see those together.

The First Team All Big Ten Center and Honorable Mention All-American will join his senior teammates, Sasha Stefanovic and Eric Hunter Jr. for one more season, a season with lofty expectations, not only in West Lafayette, but nationwide, where some media have our Purdue Boilermakers Preseason Top 10.

Trevion has been on an upward trajectory his entire career at Purdue and there is no reason to not believe he has saved his best basketball for his senior year.

Back 4 More.

Boiler Up.
