After Grant Hermanns had the left tackle spot on lockdown throughout the entire Jeff Brohm tenure Purdue needs a new man at one of the most important spots on the field. That could be today’s player.

Offensive Line
2021 projection: Potential starter
To me it says something that Purdue has a lot of “potential starters” for the offensive line. In reality, it has a lot of guys that have experience, both as reserves and starters, but we need to figure out positions. Gus Hartwig is probably the center. Tyler Witt likely has a guard spot. Greg Long likely has a tackle spot. That leaves two spots open.
Miller has the size you want in a left tackle. That is generally the spot for the tallest guy on the line. He has played in 17 of the last 18 games and has grabbed a pair of starts in that time. He has also twice been named an Academic all-Big Ten selection. Can he move into a starter’s role full time, however?
