Some recruiting sites have Charlie listed as an athlete, but it appears that Purdue has been recruiting him as a tight end.
The 3 star from Lakota East High School in Ohio, stands a tall 6-5, 225 Pounds, with plenty of room to grow.
Similar to the frame Payne Durham and Garrett Miller had when they came to campus, both have grown into a multi faceted tight end, and weigh nearly 260 pounds.
Since Coach Brohm arrived to Purdue, the Tight End Position has been a position of focus. There has been plenty of production from the position, from Cole Herdman and Brycen Hopkins, to present day tight ends Payne Durham and Garrett Miller.
Charlie’s best traits right now are his pass catching skills - but he will grow into a blocker, I see a ceiling similar to Payne Durham’s, where he comes in more of a receiver, but turns into a more balanced player under Coach Brohm.
Welcome to Purdue, Charlie!
