Purdue has searched far and wide for help in the secondary.
There have been losses to graduation, to the portal, to injury.
Well, help is on the way, in the form of Christopher Jefferson, a division II transfer from Findlay University.

Don’t get it mixed up either, the normal thoughts of “Oh he is division two player, he must just be added for depth”.
Not true. This kid can ball. A safety and Nickle Corner, help is needed and he will help.
Christopher had a strong spring season, he played his season in the spring with the rest of division two. He was named all conference.
In 2019, he was a division II First Team All-American.
At Free Safety that year, he had 62 tackles and 9 interceptions. Just insane numbers for a guy playing deep middle.
Jefferson makes the 10th transfer to Purdue this off-season, many believe we would still take help at corner and running back. Both big time needs.
Welcome to Purdue, Christopher!
