Name: Alex Maxwell

Position: Wide Receiver

Size: 6-1, 195 Pounds

Year: Redshirt Freshman

Prediction: Deep Reserve, Special Teams

Alex Maxwell played quarterback at East Central High School, where he won a state championship before walking on at Purdue.

More of an athlete, Alex was recruited lightly as a quarterback to the collegiate level, but ultimately, he decided to come to Purdue as an athlete.

He ended up at wide receiver, where he will mostly focus on the slot position and helping on special teams.

In 2020, Alex was Academic All B1G and appeared in games on special teams, making one tackle. He was one of ninety six fall athletes to garner Academic All B1G Honors in 2020.
