As we creep closer and closer to the 2021 TBT, Purdue’s representing squad Men of Mackey is starting to fill out. It was announced that former Boilermaker and now Incarnate Word assistant coach, Ryne Smith will be returning as head coach this year!
Smith lead the Men of Mackey last year to a win over Heartfire before losing to a TBT powerhouse, Boheim’s Army. This time around, he will be adding some different players to go alongside the core group in 2020.
At the time of this writing, the roster consists of Lewis Jackson, Jon Octeus and Evan Boudreaux, with more announcements to come soon. Octeus and Boudreaux are returning for their second year with Men of Mackey while Lew Jack will be in his first year with the squad.
Ryne Smith is a great choice to lead this squad and fans will be interested to see how the rest of the roster fills out. Follow @PurdueTbt on Twitter for more updates as the days and weeks move on.
