The 2021 Purdue football season is going to be a special one. We get to see fans in the stands for the first time in two years. We get to play in heaven... errrr... Wrigley Field, where the only thing more rare than a Cubs home World Series game is a Purdue football game at Wrigley. We get to see the return of our series with Notre Dame after a long absence.
And hopefully, we get to see more wins.
It is a season, as always, that has a lot of questions. Often Purdue finds more questions than it finds answers, but maybe this year is different. It is a crossroads year for Jeff Brohm. Either he turns it around and starts rebuilding or we start the decline into his eventual firing in 2023. I would much rather have it be the former.
So let’s meet the players one by one and see what happens.
