With just 98 days to go until Purdue football kicks off its season we take a look at a defensive end with limited game experience. Greg Hudgins III appeared in two games in the strange and shortened 2020 season.

Defensive End
2021 Projection: Contributor at Defensive End
Hudgins III was a Rivals 4* recruit who appeared in two games for the Boilermakers last year. No stats were recorded but that’s okay. He was a freshman at a very tough position. Not everyone can be like Big George. Purdue will need help along the defensive line this year and a former 4* recruit seems just the type of player to make a difference. If the Purdue defense is going to improve from last year it’s players like Hudgins III that will help them do it.
