Yesterday, Coach Painter and his newly assembled staff sent an offer to a top 50 player out of Florida.
Four-star PG Justice Williams of @TeamFinalEYBL has been offered by Purdue. @brianneubert https://t.co/EEh2TBQR7t

Justice Williams, who is probably more of a combo guard, has a solid offer list. After looking through offers though, it does not appear that he held an offer from Ohio State or from Creighton.
So, this player is new for all three coaches, some would say we are getting in late to the game, but it appears there is some mutual interest between the two.
Some of his top offers are from Uconn, Michigan, Maryland, Alabama, Florida, IU, Miami, Va Tech, Penn State and Pittsburgh.
Williams is a nice sized guard, his build is not much different than from Eric Hunter Jr, he is tall, a little skinny but with long arms. He could be a defensive minded type player once arriving to Purdue, but he does have the ability to score, particularly, getting to the rim.
Coach Painter continues to try and add more pieces to this 2022 class that feature Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer.
After the 2021-2022 season, we will for sure lose three players at minimum. With the graduation of Eric Hunter Jr, Sasha Stefanovic and Trevion Williams.
Many early NBA mock drafts have Jaden Ivey heading to the NBA after this season. That allows Coach Painter to add two more pieces to the 2022 class.
As always, we will keep a close eye on Coach Painter and his staff’s recent offers, especially as we see AAU Season pick up steam, there will be some late offers after there was not much of an AAU season last year - the 2022 class has not had as much exposure.
