It is another busy weekend for our Purdue Boilermakers. Here is a breakdown of all of the games or matches this weekend.
Purdue Baseball:
The 4-13 Boiler Baseball team will head to East Lansing for an interesting set of games. Tomorrow and Sunday, we will play Penn State, Saturday at 4 PM then Sunday at Noon. Sunday at 4 PM we will then play Michigan State, then finishing up the trip to East Lansing on Monday, playing Michigan State again.
This is an interesting trip playing two team in East Lansing, but it is a way to reduce travel costs and still get games in for Big Ten Teams
Purdue Softball:
The 6-14 Purdue Softball Team will host a 4 game series this weekend against the Indiana Hoosiers. Tonight they will play a double header, at 4 PM then 630 PM. Then a Game Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It would be a great weekend to go support these young women at Bittinger Stadium against that school from Bloomington.
IU is 8-12 and this should be a pretty even match up.
Purdue Track & Field:
The Track and Field team will head to Bloomington for a Big Ten Invitational that the Hoosiers host each year. This will be a good measuring stick going into the latter part of the season. Our throwers and sprinters have been excellent this season and will look to continue their dominance in Bloomington.
Purdue Volleyball:
The 7th ranked volleyball team is off this weekend, but will play in the NCAA Tournament next Thursday, playing the winner of UCF vs High Point.
Purdue Men’s Tennis:
The 1-12 Tennis team will host #23 Ohio State tonight and Penn State this Sunday in West Lafayette. It has been a tough season for the squad.
Purdue Women’s Tennis:
The 5-9 women’s tennis team will host Illinois this Sunday looking to improve their record in the Big Ten.
