2021-22 Purdue Basketball Homework

Grab your pens and paper, kids. It is time to get some homework done. The 2020-21 men’s basketball season was, for the most part, a surprise. Purdue exceeded expectations. instead of just making the tournament it won 13 Big Ten games and received a top 4 seed to March Madness. The ending with a pair of overtime losses put a damper on things, but overall It was the building year I expected. We set the table for what can be a great 2-3 year run as all the major pieces can return not just for 2021-22, but beyond since Purdue had no seniors and everyone can get the free COVID year. Since Matt Painter is all about getting old and staying old that is huge.

It’s homework time though. For Purdue to take the next step everyone has some things to work on, and that is what this series will explore over the next few weeks.
