Late last week it was announced that Caleb Furst was named Indiana’s Mr. Basketball for 2021. Today we found out the rest of the 2021 Indiana All-Star team, and it has another familiar name:

Luke Brown - Blackford - Stetson
Caleb Furst - Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian - Purdue
Luke Goode - Homestead - Illinois
Kooper Jacobi - Silver Creek - Toledo
Trey Kaufman-Renn - Silver Creek - Purdue
J.R. Konieczny - South Bend St. Joseph - Notre Dame
Blake Sisley - Heritage Hills - Evansville
Jayden Taylor - Perry Meridian - Butler
Pierce Thomas - Brownsburg - Butler
Brian Waddell - Carmel - undecided
Blake Wesley - South Bend Riley - Notre Dame
On the girls side Lawrence North’s Jayla Smith has also been named to the All-Star team, as she was Miss Basketball for 2021 as well. She will head to Purdue in the fall along with Furst and Kaufman-Renn. I also highlighted Brian Waddell of Class 4A state champ Carmel, who recently received a Purdue offer.
Here is the schedule for this year’s festivities:
Wednesday, June 9 — Junior-Senior All-Star game at Brownsburg High School (1000 S. Odell St., Brownsburg, IN 46112) — girls, 6:00 p.m.; boys, to follow; admission, $8 per person at the door. Note - The junior team will have 2022 commit Fletcher Loyer
Friday, June 11 — Indiana at Owensboro SportsCenter (1215 Hickman Ave., Owensboro, KY 42301) — girls, 6:00 p.m.; boys, to follow. Ticket information TBA.
Saturday, June 12 — Indiana vs. Kentucky at Southport Fieldhouse (971 E. Banta Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46227) — girls, 5:00 p.m.; boys, to follow. Ticket information, prices are $25 and $10. A link to purchase tickets online will be released later.
