Paul Lusk did not wait long to show Coach Painter a player he has long recruited at Creighton.
On Wednesday Evening, Demarion Watson-Saulsberry announced via Twitter that Coach Matt Painter extended him an offer, he is a wing man for the 2022 class.
After an amazing zoom call with coach Painter and the rest of there staff I’m am truly blessed to have received an offer from Purdue university!!!! @BoilerBall pic.twitter.com/2qvEVEU0lG

The 4 star, top 120 product from Minneapolis, Minnesota has fielded some nice offers and Creighton was near the top of his list with Coach Lusk being the lead recruiter. He has offers from Iowa State, Florida, Iowa and Marquette as well.
At 6-7, 200 pounds, he is probably seen more as a small forward with the ability to play shooting guard as well.
I see him more of a slasher, but he has the ability to stretch the floor as well. He has above the rim ability and reminds me a bit of Aaron Wheeler of Basil Smotherman coming out of High School.
He has a great ability to get to the rim off the dribble or on a fast break with the ball pushing up to him. Defensively, I haven’t see much film from him, but with his length he should be able to guard any wing he sees.
While this is a later offer for the class of 2022, we will see this with new assistant coaches. Lusk has been on him for a couple of years at Creighton and probably sees a vision on how he can fit in at Purdue as well.
