2021 Big Ten Tournament Day 3 Open Thread & How to Watch

Purdue takes the court on day 3!

NCAA Basketball: Big Ten Conference Tournament- Minnesota vs Northwestern Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

After two days at Lucas Oil Purdue finally takes the floor this afternoon! Here is your schedule for today, with all games broadcast on BTN.

Game 7, 11:30am BTN: #1 Michigan (19-3, 14-3) vs. #8 Maryland (16-12, 9-11) –

Game 8, 2pm BTN: #4 Purdue (18-8, 13-6) vs. #5 Ohio State (19-8, 12-8) –

Game 9, 6:30pm BTN: #2 Illinois (20-6, 16-4) vs. #7 Rutgers (15-10, 10-10) –

Game 10, 9pm BTN: #3 Iowa (20-7, 14-6) vs. #6 Wisconsin (17-11, 10-10) –

Purdue gets a third game against Ohio State, and this time the Buckeyes are at full strength with both EJ Liddell and C.J. Walker, who each missed one of the regular season games against us. A third win over the Buckeyes might be enough to vault Purdue to a 3 seed in next week’s NCAA Tournament, which would be huge as we can then avoid any No. 1 seed for as long as possible.

Ironically, Purdue was slated to play Ohio State in last year’s Big Ten Tournament opener on March 12 before everything went to hell.
