AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sources: #Northwestern’s 2021 home football game against #Purdue will be played at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. Northwestern was supposed to play Wisconsin at Wrigley last year before the schedules changed. Full 2021 B1G schedules will be announced later today.

When Northwestern announced a series of Wrigley Field games I was initially excited, but they were supposed to start in 2020 and continue in even-numbered years. Since the Big Ten schedules through 2025 have been out for a while we knew Purdue was going to Evanston in odd-numbered years of 2021, 2023, and 2025.
Well, the 2020 Wrigley game was moved, and now Purdue is headed to the Friendly Confines sometime this coming season. Honestly, it is the first good thing to come out of the pandemic.
Apparently the Big Ten is moving around the Big Ten schedule and we’ll know a date later today, but here is the original 2021 schedule.
2021
Sept. 4 - OREGON STATE
Sept. 11 - at UConn
Sept. 18 - at Notre Dame (Shillelagh Trophy Game)
Sept. 25 - ILLINOIS (Cannon Trophy Game)
Oct. 2 - MINNESOTA (Homecoming)
Oct. 9 - at Ohio State
Oct. 16 - NEBRASKA
Oct. 30 - at Iowa
Nov. 6 - MICHIGAN STATE
Nov. 13 - at Wisconsin
Nov. 20 - at Northwestern
Nov. 27 - INDIANA (Old Oaken Bucket Game)
Because they want to keep the field in baseball configuration through any theoretical playoff games for the Cubs the earliest date we could see this is November 13, as the date of a potential game 7 of the World Series is November 3rd.
As a Cubs fan I could not be more excited about this. Give me 17 vaccines right now.
And yes, before you ask, they are supposed to have fixed the east end zone issues from the last Wrigley game because the third base seats can be moved to give the field more room.
