KK Short is looking for a new home after being released by the Carolina Panthers this morning.
Panthers are releasing two-time, Pro-Bowl DT Kawann Short today, per source. Teams in the market for DT help now have another strong option.

Kawaan was owed just north of 12 million dollars this season and by releasing him, the Panthers are saving right around 9 million dollars.
After signing his large deal in 2018 when he was selected to his second pro bowl, Kawaan has only played 5 games in the past two seasons dealing with season ending lower body injuries.
Maybe the former Boilermaker and East Chicago Native will look to get closer to home, with the Bears and Colts being nearby.
After turning 32 earlier this month and dealing with back to back seasons with bad injuries, Kawaan will likely be on a one year prove it deal somewhere.
In his career, he has graded out per Pro Football Focus over a 90%, which puts him in the top 10 since 2013.
Best of luck, KK!
