The 2023 class has started off with a bang, much in thanks to Special Teams Coordinator Marty Biagi, who’s ties to Louisiana has paid off in the 2022 class and now already in the 2023 class.
This morning, 4 star quarterback, Rickie Collins, committed to Purdue.

Collins, at 6-4, 190 Pounds, is considered a dual threat quarterback, but he looks like a guy that can also stand in the pocket and deliver a laser of a pass if need be.
He as the athletic ability to escape the pocket when needed though, something, outside of Austin Burton, this Purdue Football team lacks.
The last three quarterback commits that have come to Purdue have been 4 stars.
2020 - Michael Alaimo
2022 - Brady Allen
2023 - Rickie Collins
Collins though, may have the highest ceiling of all. His other offers included Arkansas, LSU, Louisville, Memphis, TCU, Mississippi State, and Va Tech.
This is a great start to the 2023 class. Now, to get some player makers on defense, OL and a running back.
