I apologize that this version of In Tweets is probably going to suck. My son had his final soccer game today, so I didn’t get into the stadium until the start of the second quarter. It was also pouring down rain for the vast majority of the game, so there wasn’t a great opportunity to do much tweeting, either commentary or searching Twitter.
That only makes sense though. it was a frustrating game, so of course it would be frustrating to try and do a column like this with my phone getting soaked. Y’all can blame my playcalling and in-game decision making, which, let’s be honest, is usually pretty subpar.
At least Purdue has its bye week coming up, which is much needed after the last few weeks. There is a lot that needs to be fixed on offense and we need to get some guys healthy. There is still time to turn this around.
good first attempt to bring back the gold. Fairly basic. Remove to improve on. Don't be afraid of the gold!

@HammerAndRails That ball was loose. No control when he went down. Where was the challenge? #BoilerUp #boilerfoofball @HammerAndRails

@HammerAndRails the officials are not waiting till the end of the game to screw us on a touchdown call

This is going to be a loss that definitely should not have happened.

Brohm lost this game, it’s on him and I don’t want to hear the blame game….ALL ON HIM!!

AOC should not be the QB if Purdue wants to be a top tier team. Great guy, but this is his best. Cant beat a low tier Minn team.

I also find it obnoxiously annoying that Purdue, which fashions itself as a blue-collar crew in its athletic teams, can not win a game in inclement weather.

I know it’s not gonna happen…because we’re in year five, but, it’s time for @JeffBrohm to coach like there is no tomorrow. This defense is too good to be wasted with what we’re seeing on offense.

Legit pissed about this game. We had this game and had it washed away...thus the life of a Purdue football fan...@HammerAndRails

That’s alright. I stood in the student section in Ross Ade for losses to Bowling Green, Central Michigan, and every single big ten team that wasn’t Nebraska rolling in with a 19th string qb. I watched us run out to Enter Sandman vs VT. This team cannot hurt me now.

We used to lose games giving up 30 points. Now we lose them giving up 20. #progress
