It is time for another episode of Behind the Rails with myself and Purdue football legend Kory Sheets. The loss to Wisconsin on Saturday was a very disappointing one, as Purdue’s offense was held in check, turned the ball over five times, and gave no assistance to a defense that played well until it was finally worn down by a strong Wisconsin running game.
Sounds familiar, right?
In this edition:
- Kory gives his take on the offensive struggles.
- He also sings the praises of George Karlaftis, who has been the lynchpin for Purdue’s defensive turnaround this year.
- We talk about how Wisconsin effectively removed David Bell from the contest.
- We also talk about week 794 of the Aidan O’Connell vs. Jack Plummer quarterback conspiracy.
At this point we’re hoping for a bounce back against the Cornhuskers, as it is now a very important game on the road. Tune in for a good listen.
