Purdue lost to Wisconsin because the Badgers had a very physical run offense.
Water is wet.
The sun rises in the east.
IU sucks.
These are all immutable truths. This was Purdue’s best chance to beat the Badgers in a very long time and the Boilers could not get it done, losing by 17 at home thanks to five turnovers. The offense did very little except for a TD drive off a short field. The defense played valiantly, but had some poor tackling that we haven’t seen all year and often had to defend a short field (seriously, they held on a 1st and goal at the 1, AGAINST WISCONSIN!).
At least we were ranked for one week.
Ah well, no time for pissing and moaning. It is time to recover and go win in Lincoln against a Nebraska team that is basically a random number generator of a football team. We still need two wins and we get to play Northwestern and Indiana.

Getting photographic evidence that, yes, Purdue is playing a game an AP Top 25 team. pic.twitter.com/loGFRv6oe9

Brutal. Just brutal. Oh well. Guess it is what it is.

We knew how that drive was ending the second they converted the 3rd and 15

Looked like every Wisconsin Purdue game I can remember

The way we played reminds me of how Iowa played the first few games of the season. Points coming from defense and good field position. Also usually not sustainable

Allen just burnt Purdue for a 70 yard gain from inside Wisconsin's five yard line. That sucked the life out of Ross Ade.

"Even Aaron Rodgers wants to leave Wisconsin" sign up on the jumbotron.

Why can’t @BoilerFootball QBs just throw it away or eat it…constantly making bad and risky throws that end up INTs. @HammerAndRails

Classic Purdue let down. Destroy Iowa on the road, but now throwing away a game to a garbage Wisconsin team.

The first thing Brohm always says when asked about AOC is how he’s a “man of great faith” and a “great Christian”. At this point I actually believe that if he was an atheist he’d have been benched a while ago

Brohm would have a natty or 2 if every opponent we played was Iowa, Illinois, and Ohio State.
— Dr. J ⛅ (@Air_Force_Juan) October 24, 2021
Of course, Brohm would be winless if every opponent was Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Eastern Michigan.
