Another week, another honor.

Ivey joins Brandon Newman who won the award last week, Mason Gillis who won the award the week of December 21st, and Zach Edey who won the week of November 30th.
Ivey of course had the gigantic shot against Ohio State this week which surely propelled him into the win this week. The ice water in the veins to not only take that shot but to drain it is amazing for a freshman.
I don’t imagine this will be the last award we see Ivey win during his time at Purdue. With the raised confidence and increased focus on getting to the rim I would imagine Ivey will continue to put up bigger numbers in the back half of the season.
Rather than bore you with stats I think I’ll just drop in the Ivey game winner for you to admire. Well done young man.
