Tyler Coyle was supposed to be an impact Grad Transfer, once being the leading tackler of the UConn Huskies, where he totaled over 250 tackles in 3 seasons.
Instead, he saw a shortened Covid Season and the birth of his first child early in the season, which only allowed him to play 3 games for Purdue. (The Birth of your Child is more important).
At Purdue, he totaled 13 tackles, playing some OLB and returned a couple of kicks.
He is now moving on to chase his NFL Dreams.

While we did not see much of him at Purdue, there is plenty of film of Tyler at UConn that warrants him a spot in the NFL as a Strong Safety. He flies around and makes tackles at the LOS when needed and he also covered very well for UConnn.
Best of luck, Tyler. Chase those dreams!
