Well, it was a short stint in West Lafayette for Defensive Line Coach Terrance Jamison.
Illinois native @CoachJamison is the new #Illini defensive line coach!

Welcome, Coach Jamison!

Coach Jamison came to Purdue after spending a few years at Air Force. Bret Bielema coached Jamison during his college days and when he was done playing, he became a GA for Bret.
Terrance appeared to be widely liked by his defensive linemen and I think this is an unexpected hole that Coach Brohm has to fill. But, with his relationship with Coach Bielema, it as no real surprise that he wants to coach with his former head football coach and the man who gave him his start in coaching.
Things are starting to fall in place for Mike Elston to come on down from Notre Dame and be our defensive coordinator and defensive line coach.
But, either way, our defensive staff remains unnamed, outside of Co-Defensive Coordinator Anthony Poindexter who also coaches safeties. We need a corners coach, linebackers, defensive line and a defensive coordinator.
Things should get moving in the coming days, as coaches are beginning to move.
Best of luck, Coach Jamison!
